What can I say... steering wanders! I've been driving Jeeps since I was 18. A CJ5, a YJ, a TJ, and two JK's. NONE of them have driven this bad. And the dealer doesn't give a damn. Gave me alignments the first two times. Didn't do a thing. Third time in the guy just claimed it drove like their other Gladiator's on the lot. Funny... you don't have any other Mojaves on your lot.. but whatever. I get his point, even though I'm convinced he's lying.

Look, the thing is dangerous on the highway. The slightest breeze blow it out of its lane. Forget about driving in any kind of wind... you'll be white knuckle the whole time. I've been a loyal Jeep customer for years and this is the first time I've considered getting rid of one and NEVER doing business with Jeep again. The dealers service also stinks.

We should be crying out RECALL!!!!!! Jeep has issued TSB 08-074-20 but this issue is so dangerous that it should be taken to the next level. I will take my brand spanking new Gladiator tomorrow to see if the dealer dignifies me with a proper solution. I will keep you posted on the outcome.

Gladiator Overland 3.6L V6

The day I picked up my new Gladiator and drove it off the lot I noticed that the vehicle was wandering and wouldn't keep a straight track. I thought it might be an alignment problem, so I took it back to the dealer for a realignment. After two hours the dealership called and told me it wasn't an alignment problem, but the steering needed to be replaced. They said they had to order parts so it would be the next day before I could pick it up.

Well, that was three days ago and I still haven't gotten the Gladiator back. I called this morning to find out what the hold-up was and was told they were working on it as we spoke, and it would be ready this afternoon. The Service guy also tried BSing me about what a difficult fix it was and it took a long time. I did a little research and found out that it wasn't too difficult and it should take less than two hours to replace. To be continued!

Update from May 22, 2021: I took the Gladiator back to the dealer and they corrected the problem under warranty by replacing the aluminum steering box with a steel steering box. Now the Gladiators steers like it should! like it should.

Update from Sep 29, 2021: The replacement of the new steering box fixed the problem.
