This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
This is in regards to the current NHTSA investigation PE24024. I work at an automotive repair shop in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. We have a customer with a number of Jeep Gladiators that they use for their business (surveying on a local mine site). We have had six of them come in and we have noted that it seems like the relays in the under hood fuse panel appear to have been hot/overheating. See attached pictures. I have no idea if this is related, of course, but I did want to submit the pictures for your review. We have been unable to determine why the relays are doing this. Note that I am not the owner of the VIN provided.
The gladiator doors do not seal right. When I take this brand new truck through the car wash, every time I get water spraying through the bottom of the door onto my leg. It is not safe to have water spray getting into a vehicle. I am scared for what happens when I drive it in the rain.
