I have received two recall notices for low impact problem on Jeep.{ could open gas tank} deeming it unsafe.I had it inspected at marsh field Chrysler mass.I was told could not be done due too corrosion on old factory hitch{which was missing a portion}.too make it safe I took it to biggest trailer dealer on South shore.drinkwater trailer sales pembroke mass.they said that the frame was not corroded removed old pieces of existing hitch, install new hitch making my Jeep safer to be on our roads.Chrysler stated it would not reimburse me.because idid not use their hitch.they stated they could not due job.you would think that Chrysler would reimburse me for taking appropriate action to resolve the safety defect N45.why are unsafe vehicles allowed knowingly endangering on our public hi-way.
