I bought my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee new at my local Jeep dealer and specifically asked the salesman if the seats were able to stand up to children. He lied and told me that the fabric in this car is one of the most stain resistant out there. Truth is, its not. You can't even leave a water bottle in the seat without the condensation staining the fabric! I don't know what they were thinking when they put this fabric in this vehicle. Fabric cleaners only seem to make the problem worse. The only way to get the stain out is by purchasing a steam cleaner. Do yourself a favor and opt for the leather seats. In the end it will cost you the same as a good steam cleaner will.
