Since I got the recall notice from Chrysler and I immediately call them to make an appointment but before I went they told me they didn't have the part for the car. They told me to wait until they got the part. So I waited. Today (November 20) my car didn't start when I tried to start it and the car made a clicking sound. So I gave up and when I turn it all off and took the key from the switch, the car still made the beeping sound like if the key was still in the switch. So I locked my car and this evening I went to get something from my car and the battery is dying. So now I can't go to work tomorrow because my car isn't starting. I just recently called Chrysler and they told me that they can't do anything because they didn't have the part and they told me they can't give me a rental because they don't give them for recalls and they told me to call the Chrysler main phone and I did. Chrysler said that they couldn't give a rental car because it's not for the recall and they said they couldn't do anything to fix my car until they make the part. So now I have a broken Jeep outside parked.

When I called the manufacturer this morning, Nov 19, 2014 (my car failed to start) regarding a recall notice, I was advised that I would have to pay for a "temporary fix" out of pocket because the recalled part was currently unavailable. No further recourse was addressed and since my car is intermittently starting and has occasionally stalled while driving, I am stuck driving a potential hazard, or being stranded without a vehicle at all, until replacement parts are made available to me. I have already replaced the faulty ignition part, at my own expense (more than $700), in 2012 prior to the recall. Clearly even that part was a "temporary fix, " though that was never communicated to me.

While driving, all of my lights on my instrument panel start to flash. I am unable to tell the speed at which I am going because it the speedometer stops working as well. The fans stop blowing and this has happened over and over. I received a speeding ticket because of being unable to tell how fast I was driving. I have taken my car to a Chrysler/Jeep dealership and they were unable to do anything or figure out why it happened. I have taken it to my local garage and they are unable to find out why it is happening. This has been going on for almost two years and keeps getting worse and worse. I have contacted Chrysler/Jeep via email and was told that I should take it back to a dealership to have it looked at but "if it is monetary reimbursement" that I was looking for, that wasn't going to happen. I can google this issue and find hundreds of people with the same problem online with no resolution! this isn't just a problem that I am having and until it causes someone to have an accident and kill either themselves or someone else, Chrysler doesn't seem to care!!!
