While the car was under warranty it was taken into Walt Sweeney due to a musty smell and broken windshield washer nozzles. The washer wiper nozzles were replaced but they could find nothing wrong with the car. They did not say what they checked. Minute loss of radiator fluid caused musty smell. Very seldom had to add radiator fluid and when it was added only a small amount had to be added (less than a pint). Took car in at 23333 miles and again at 24523 and the people at the dealer could not find anything wrong. Mikes Garage found the radiator leak without any problem. I have the old radiator in my possession.

On 5/1/2015 Jeep customer service was contacted. They listened to all details and put me on hold three times for a considerable amount of time. Jeep customer service stated that they could readily see that there was a problem when the car was under warranty and that the problem developed while the car was under warranty. However, now that the car is out of warranty Jeep refused to do anything about this issue. Cost to replace radiator $621.41.

Jeep stated that the warranty was a 3 year 36000 mile warranty. If that is true and there is a problem before the 3 year 36000 mile limit rolls around then why doesn't the dealer find and fix the problem. Jeep customer service called the dealer a "Certified Dealer". What aare they certified at?

While I had the car in for service the sales people wanted to sell me a new 4 x 4 Dodge Ram truck. It looked nice.

Bottom line - JEEP DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCT THEY MANUFACTURER
