The dealer informed the contact that the vehicle was serviced per NHTSA campaign number: 15V115000 (electrical system) and the warranty failed to cover the replacement external relay, which was failing. The manufacturer was contacted and they verified the recall parts were covered by warranty for ten years, but refused to cover the fuel pump relay because it was external. The contact was awaiting further information from the manufacturer regarding the warranty coverage and assistance. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 110,000.
