The hood corrosion that I am experiencing is a well known factory defect due to poor workmanship. It is well documented all over the internet for many years now. Jeep has agreed to address many of the owners complaints while strongly denying others with no rhyme or reason to their decision. To make matters worse, I was told by the dealership that they could have done a "goodwill repair" but since I do not get my vehicle serviced with them (I moved 30 miles away from them after I purchased the vehicle) they will not help me. By the way, the dealerships name is Jim Shorkey Jeep located on McKnight Road in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, Pa.
I contacted Stellantis Customer support (Jeep parent company). They stated that I would need to work with the dealership and they could not help me. The dealership has refused to discuss this any further. There needs to be a class action lawsuit against Jeep as this has been going on with many of their vehicles for many years.
