- Summary
- MODULE, Transfer Case Control (DTCM) If there are any ECU's being updated for Software updates this will cause an interuption in CAN communication which in combined with a shortened key cycle (CAN communication is still alive) can cause the C1472-92 DTCM Fault. If Vehicle sets C1472-92 verify the diagnostics by the following: (1.) Take Vehicle Scan to verify DTC is Active/Stored. Send to Tech Advisor to record DTC snapshot information. If Vehicle sets C1472-92 verify the repair by the following: (1.) Verify there are no Ground loose connections / concerns (G910A) by ensuring the ground stud securement is correct. (2.) Complete sleep cycle. Allow DTCM to fully shutdown. PRDNL lights will no longer illuminate. (3.) After complete shutdown, turn ignition on and shift out of Park. (4.) Shift back into part and complete shutdown of ignition cycle
