Summary
BUCKLE ASSY, Seat Belt, Left or Right (Front Row) Before ordering a new buckle part, ensure connector from buckle to wiring harness is fully seated. If not fully seated, this throws an intermittent airbag light on and occupant unbuckled HMI message. Airbag / seat belt light may be falsly turned on if seat buckle connector is not fully seated. Instead of replacing buckles, first check connection. Step 1: Unplug buckle from body harness. Step 2: Re-connect buckle connector to body harness. Step 3: Ensure connection is fully made and the aigbag / seat belt lights are no longer on. Step 4: If lights remain on, replace buckle.
