The Airbag light came on 1 week after my warranty had expired. There are so many vehicles and brands of vehicles that have the same Airbag problem. The Dealers should get this problem fixed with no cost to the owner because it will cost the consumer in the long run by costing peoples lives. I know the Auto Dealers are only concerned about the bottom line MONEY. The consumer has already payed for the Automobile and the Automaker should stand behind there product. The Automaker could look at this as if there family member was driving there defective product and the Airbag does not deploy as it should loss of life would be a greater cost than repairing the problem, and a dead person can not ever purchase another automobile.

Well, there have been a number of intermittent problems occurring in the Jeep Liberty vehicles. Before these problems occurred in this year of 2015, with the dash light on and off, showing red light with passenger airbag malfunction. Also added to this problem, I had been noticing in the center console there being a light that actually said passenger side airbag not on. So, this issue at this point is not resolved.

I took it to Advance Auto in Waycross to get some preliminary questions answered and found none. This brings me to the point of calling both Chrysler and the dealer I purchased it from, which by the way is not covered under basic warranty, but, powertrain is still available. Now, prior year 2014 and years 2011; purchase year on up to 2014, has had a series of fixes required, which under basic warranty, were fixed. These included, driver side blinker, with condensation changed, tensioner, lifter, fixed and sometimes still makes noises when vehicle has sat overnight or even while cold, sounds of rattle, and prior to my basic warranty running out, had this problem documented, but sometimes the Chrysler mechanic would inform me that this is normal wear and tear and the way the components are made will do this from time to time, Tommy states, as according to my telling him, of when I start the vehicle.

In addition, the AC blower unit needed replacing, and from time to time, there is a muffled rattle coming from the, passenger side airbag, sounds like the compartment has something in it loose and when AC or heat is on, this happens. But as I have mentioned before, this also is intermittent and has caused me great concern considering vehicle recalls and money to pay for parts and labor not covered under warranties.
