I was driving my Jeep Renegade and as I was taking a left hand turn, the car, instead of accelerating, started to decelerate. Thankfully, there was an apartment complex to the right that I could turn into right before my car crapped out on me. I tried starting the vehicle and there would just be a clicking noise like the engine was trying to start over and then when I pressed the button to turn off the car, it seemed like it didn't want to turn off. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where I told them what happened, and because of the holidays, my Jeep won't be seen until next week. Icing on the cake, they didn't have a rental car available.

Started the Jeep Renagade in the morning to go to work

I drove to the top of the street and started around the round-a-bout. Halfway around he screen flashed and an alarm dings. It says ‘to shift gears, the car must be stopped’. Then it took 3 attempted to get it started.

Our son was driving his new Jeep Renegade and as approaching a red light, every light on the dash and gear shift lit up. he could not move the car or shift gears. Vehicle was towed to the dealer where they saw the problem, but then it "stopped". After that, they indicated they drove it for several miles and they could not get it to do it again. They sent us home and I suppose we're supposed to hope it was a "fluke". Once again, our son's safety was put in danger. Jeep had to know about all of these issues.
