The death wobble occurred originally while under warranty and Jeep replaced the steering stabilizer. This worked for a short while but on this occasion the death wobble shook so violently that the weld on the axle that the steering stabilizer and other components bolt to shattered almost causing the vehicle to flip. I have since replaced the axle at my own expense because jeep refused to take any responsibility for the problem AND the death wobble is still present at speeds between 38-48 miles per hour. I have been to three mechanics one of which specializes in Jeeps and they cannot isolate the problem. This seems to be a very common problem for Jeeps. Is it going to take a terminal accident to get someone's attention and correct this problem?
