I have a 2017 Cadenza with a bad oil pressure sensor. If it was a 2015 or a 2016 it would be covered. Some models are covered through 2019 but my 2017 with 77,000 miles is not covered and the dealer says it will cost almost $1500 to replace a $20 oil sensor because Kia buried this inferior part down inside the engine. Traditionally this part is on the exterior of the engine on the intake. This is admittedly their screw up by them covering some of them. This is unjust and should be corrected by KIA! Customer service has no answer as to why and when I called the corporate office, I was told to basically keep calling customer service and maybe I could get a clear answer from someone. What? it's like rolling the dice or sorry but you're screwed. This is disgusting and a blatant disregard for the customers that keep their doors open.
