Soy based wiring is an attractant to rodents. Even though the vehicle was driven daily, this did not stop then from causing significant damage. Other manufacturers have had issues with this type of wiring and I think it should be covered under a recall for all of them to replace or cover the wires to prevent further damage. This can eventually lead to a fatality.
