On July 4th 2008 we were driving home at 11pm from a fourth of July party when all of the sudden are car started to overheat. We pulled over quickly CAR DIED. Had it towed to Kia.

The next day kia informed us of the problem. The coolant lines had Rusted and Rotted away . Which caused the car to overheat and the engine to die.

It was unrepairable. We had to replace engine which was quite costly since I still owed about 6000.00 on the car. We choose to roll it over to a new loan and buy a new car. We bought another Kia Sedona 2007 model.

Be aware that if you have a Sedona around this age make sure you insist that they check the REAR COOLANT LINES. These are starting to rust out and I already know of one person who recently replaced his engine when the line broke. KIA is aware of this and will repair under warranty but only if you INSIST that they check this. They will not check this as part of their regular inspection.
