Its terrible when I have to get to work after stopping to fill with gas, and shutting off to do this and trying to start and it wont! And then I have to call my work to let them know I will be late ! Very frustrating to say the least.

this has been an on going thing since I bought this car Jan 31st 2017 ! Now my husband has experienced this problem and had to walk home to get the truck.

I experienced the intermittent no-crank condition on my 2007 Kia Sedona. After researching the problem, I am fully convinced the problem is in the IPM. Kia did put out a TSB in September 2007 #12 regarding this problem. If it's not your battery or starter, then its possibly the Burglar Alarm Relay/Anti-Theft system which is not replaceable and part of the IPM. The solution = I am replacing the IPM unit at the local Kia Dealership for a total of $350 (parts and labor). Hope it works.

Update from Aug 18, 2019: IPM replacement worked for only 6 months! Then the intermittent starting problem started again. I got rid of the Sedona because I am not going to keep buying a part that is inferior. Shame on KIA for not correcting this problem.
