Lincoln TSB #SSM 50193
2021 Lincoln Corsair
TSB Document:
Affected Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
- Summary
- Some 2020-2021 Aviator and 2021 Corsair hybrid vehicles may exhibit charging concerns with the Lincoln Dual-Voltage Charging Cord. Use a 110/120V non-GFI outlet and check to see if the vehicle charges properly with the 220V adapter removed. If the charging cord concern is only present when using the 220V adapter, a complete charge cord replacement may not be needed as the 220V adapter (part number VL5CZ-10B706-B) is available separately at accessories.lincoln.com or through the local Ford Authorized Distributor (FAD). Note that discoloration of the 220V adapter or dual voltage charging cord could indicate a problem with the electrical outlet that's used and should be inspected by a licensed electrician. For further diagnostic assistance, contact Webasto Charging systems, Inc. directly at 888-219-6747 or at evscs@webasto.com.
