While driving to work at 50mpg the airbag in the passenger seat deployed. I did not hit anything nor was I hit by anything. The airbag deployed for no reason. This is an issue as now I can not use the vehicle when traveling with my family as it is unsafe for anyone to sit in the passenger seat.
The contact owns a 2000 Lincoln Ls. The contact stated the brake lights were inoperable. In addition, the front passenger seat belt was inoperable. The manufacturer advised there were no recalls and would not provide any assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileages were approximately 84,000.
