Apparently the MKZ has had this problem for years now. My girlfriend has a 2009 MKZ and had this problem during a trip. So when my MKS overheated, her problem came to mind instantly. They replaced the thermostat first, then it happened again several weeks later, leading to the replacement on the cooling fans. Over a month now and no further problems.

The thing about Lincoln, they take wonderful care of you!! Brought my car to me the first time.....over an hour away!
