I am surprised after leasing my 2015 Lincoln MKX that I occasionally have encountered that sometimes I turn off my car and my car in on park and it shows in the dashboard that engine is still ON. I double-check to make sure that I have put my car on PARK before I turned vehicle OFF and I have literally have to pressed the park again so the PARK can take place. I think it maybe a sensor issue but I am not 100% sure since I haven't taken the vehicle for check it out with the dealer.
I now have 3 years with my Lincoln and my mileage is under 20,000. I am concerned if the dealer is going to take care of this problem with the vehicle not showing PARK when vehicle is OFF. I will like to keep my Lincoln but not sure if I will since my lease is up next month 4/13/18. However, I am planning in taking my car for an oil change this weekend and will keep you all posted. Thanks.
