Per the law suit, the Ford 10-speed transmission class action lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida: Vangel, et al., v. Ford Motor Company, I have the exact same issues with my car. I was told at the dealership that what I described was a "known issue" and it should be covered. However, the dealership after three trips could not duplicate the problem and once they could after three visits, the warranty had expired. Ford refuses to fix the "known issue". I believe I was sold a defective car and would like the issue fixed free of charge or would like the vehicle replaced. I have already contacted the attorney's presenting the plaintiff in the class action law suit. I have a different transmission (6 speed), but I believe Ford was aware of the issues with their transmissions since the problems are exactly the same as the 10 speed transmission and just kicked the can down the road, now it's time to pay.

I was told the problem was fixed because it was a wire harness issue. Car was hardly driven for a few weeks and it started acting the same (lurching when accelerating) and returned to the dealer. Dealer says it's... guess what?? A wire harness issue.

Either Ford is getting ripped off from these dealers or Ford doesn't know how to fix their own designed messes.
