This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
I have hankook ventus S1 noble2 245/50R20 tires and vehicle has 19827 miles on them. Couple of month ago they start randomly drop pressure without any visible damage, I pumped them back and continue drive. Yesterday when I came out of store one of tires had 0 pressure. I put spare tire and drove 1/2 mile to belle tire store to fix it. Technician refuse to fix a tire as thread worn beyond repair (for 20000 miles?). I brought tire home and used my air compressor to pump it up and inspect myself - no damage found (no nails or other visual cuts or tears). All other tires had lower pressure as well from 27 to 31 psi. Those hankook tires are terrible and required constant pressure check. 20000 miles only to replace $250 tire is terrible and not save to drive.
