One month after purchase noted small hole in lateral aspect of driver's seat. Seat retracts when I leave car and no problems with other vehicles. Service manager accused me of probably having a knife on my belt or something. Informed not covered under warranty and cost would probably be $75-100, but no guarantee it would not recur. Filed complaint at Ford World Headquarters and subsequently determined not covered under warranty. Sent for opinion of a Ford dealer and informed manager that the plastic edge of the seat belt clasp is rough and suspect that when released, it scraps the lateral side of the seat. He never touched the seat belt clasp. He informed me its not covered under warranty. Received phone call from World Headquarters representative that it's not covered under warranty and estimated repair cost $400. They were willing to charge only $300 and no guarantee it would not recur. I rejected offer as two months earlier the price was $75-100.
