Takata recall. I have now tried to work with towo different Ford dealerships to get my takata airbag replaced on recall. I call them and talk to them and give them all my information. Korum Ford of puyallup says that they are not handling the recalls, and then I contacted bowen scarf Ford of kent, talked to a representative and they said they would schedule me. This has not happened to date and I have called and left messages multiple times. This is very frustrating that I cannot not get this safety issue taken care of.

Since 2 years ago Ford recalled these airbags and do nothing! I went to 2 dealers Lincoln in my area because I received letter from Ford stating that they will pay for a rental car up to 45$/day until this recalled car is done and none of dealers wanted to provide a rental car-both said that is not worthed and I will lose money if I rent. This car is dangerous and all of them turned me away.Ford send a letter stating that they will cover up to 45$ / a day for a rental.riverhead NY dealer said I have to rent through them w hertz a Ford vehicle to qualify for this rental or another car up to 30$/day max because Ford will not pay!!! I found this weird and went to second Lincoln dealer brigh bay Lincoln in bay shore NY. Here story was a little changed: "you can rent through us w hertz any car up to 45$/day but you have to pay in advance a month for the rental and after to submit to Ford your rental expense and they will decide if they pay or not!!!!"?" also you have to take this car with recall to your place and sign an affidavit that you will not use the car until is fixed!!! I ask why they don't keep the recalled car to them and said : no room! these guys at Ford Lincoln I think they do all they can not to give out another car and prefer that we risk our lives! maybe I should sue them!

Takata recall poor customer service and lack of humanity as Ford and Lincoln refuse to provide loaner vehicles for all of their customers who are affected by this. Our family has endured almost 1 1/2 years of mental stress worrying about getting into a simple fender bender because it could potentially cause serious injury or death as result of a lifesaving device that could in fact kill the driver and/or passengers. Even the insurance companies would not assist in paying for a rental vehicle as a proactive approach to avoid a potential catastrophic event. Our society is obsessed with money and greed, we no longer look out for each other. Still waiting for our vehicle to be repaired in Michigan.

A couple years ago, we received a notice about the air bags. We were told that our dealer would contact us when they could correct the problem. We've heard nothing from them. A few months ago fmco sent another warning about how dangerous the air bags were and we should avoid having passengers in the front passenger seat. Still no contact regarding repair. This is ridiculous!
