Summary
"This Service Information bulletin and attachment supersedes SI M11 07 15 dated October 2015.. Excessive amount of water condensation may accumulate in the engine's crankcase. With prolonged vehicle storage, water condensation in engine's oil may cause oil pump malfunction. AFFECTED VEHICLES This Service Action involves F55 and F56 models (MINI Cooper with the B38 engine) produced from 07/05/2014 to 02/24/2015 that are: Still a ""new vehicle"" in dealer inventory (no in-service date reported), and the Current odometer mileage is 155 or less. Vehicles which require this Service Action to be completed will show it as ""Open"" when checked either in the ""Service Menu"" of DCSnet (Dealer Communication System) or with the Key Reader. Increased number of colds starts and stops during a vehicle's transportation and storage process (prior to customer delivery)."
