Murano LS 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 39,000 miles

Car is off, parked, and as I am walking away I press the Lock button on my keyless entry remote and "BAM" the windows roll down. So I have to walk back and open the car, turn it back on and roll the windows back up.

Its raining, I press the Unlock button on my keyless entry remote from inside my home so I can just run out into the car and be dry. And "BAM" the windows roll down, so now my leather seats are wet, and you get the point.

So it's like midnight and my daughter is crying so I give her my keys to play with, she presses on the keyless entry remote button and I think nothing of it. About 2 am, she wants her doll that she left in the car, so I go out to get it and find the windows rolled down... ANNOYING!!!!

This is the third time this has happened. Of course, today is the day that we are having Hurricane Ike weather! It's raining outside and when my husband leaves work for lunch, his windows are rolled down. All three times the car has been off and there has been at least a little rain in the air. The first time, the windows were just cracked. The second and third times were completely rolled down. I don't know what the problem is but my car could be ruined or stolen!

Murano SL 3.2L V6

  • CVT transmission
  • 12,000 miles

I had the same issue. I asked the service department at my local dealership and was told:

"That if you have the intelligent key and you press 2 of the buttons in it (not sure which ones) it'll cause the windows to go down." Guess it's a really annoying feature that allows you to roll your windows down during the summer when it's hot out.

Only once, but i found my vehicle with both front windows down after about a 30 min. park. It was locked and the windows were locked from the console. I had to unlock to raise the passenger side window. Now i am out of state with my murano parked long term in a new england lot... A snow event happened last night... what if?

Murano ES 3.2L

  • CVT transmission
  • 7,000 miles

Both front windows on my Murano (driver and passenger sides) are "automatically" rolling down when the car is off. It appears to be related to moisture in the air, but I'm not sure of the true cause.

Windows lower when car is not running! I called Nissan Headquarters.--they told us to try another Nissan garage; they had no idea why this happened and PERHAPS another garage could help us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too bad CEO of Nissan didn't hear that conversation!
