It is ridiculous that a car that is only 8 years old and only has 121,000 miles on it should have so many expensive drivetrain and suspension problems. The differential went out with no warning when I was on the way home from work. I barely made it home. It cost me $3,000.00 to get it fixed this time and an axle went out in March that cost me almost $1,000.00 to fix. I have spent almost as much in repairs in the last 8 months as the book value of the car. It is frightening to think what could have happened if I had been on an expressway or the interstate when those parts had broken. I'm not made of money. The differential alone cost over $1,500.00.
It is stupid that I had to replace tires I could have gotten another winter out of because you have to keep high tread on Nissan AWD or it burns up the bearing in the differential.
I will NOT EVER own another Nissan again.
