Driving at approximately 70 to 80 miles per hour (in the beginning) from Yuma back to San Diego. As I started going through the hills I set my cruise control to 65. I noticed I was losing acceleration and then cruise control quit. It was before noon, a cool morning (no A/C). I finally made it through the hills driving in the emergency lane doing 20 miles per hour. Once I got through the hills it didn't get any better. With the pedal to the metal I was doing about 25 to 30, by the time I got off the freeway I was doing maybe 10 miles per hour. I shut the car off, let it sit for an hour. After a hour, started it again put it in reverse and that's as far as I got. Car went NOwhere in "D" or in "L". Had to have it towed 51 miles. Thank you Nissan for doing nothing for a problem you know exists. All I can say is thank GOD I got through the hills and it wasn't at night.

I am not happy at all and something must be done about this problem, which has to do with the transmission. Going to the Airport to pick up family, for the Holidays, and the SUV Engine light comes on, and, oh Joy the car does not work at all. Had to call a tow truck to come and tow the car back to my place, and me too. Finally I ended up staying home, and the poor family had to arrive in Toronto, by taking a taxi to my

place. As you all know, taxi's are not free in Canada.

I need Nissan to take responsibility for their action and to do something for us at no charge. That is only fair, as we are the stupid ones that purchased the car, so be new or used!

I hope you do respond to this message and do something about it or Nissan will have more Lawsuits coming their way.

Thank you
