The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that the door locks were independently disengaging while the vehicle was parked in cold weather below 20-degrees. The contact stated that the failure recurred while driving in cold weather and driving over a bump in the roadway. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or a dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 135,000.
The contact owned a 2014 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving a popping noise was heard as well as she felt the vehicle dragging. After stopping the vehicle and checking under the hood she so flames in the radiator area of the vehicle. The fire department was called to the scene and extinguished the flames. A fire department report was filed. The vehicle was towed away. The cause of the failure was not determined. The contact stated she attempted to notify the manufacturer of the failure however, they were unable to verify her information as the owner of the vehicle. The local dealer was not notified. Also, the front driver, passenger side and rear passenger side exterior door handles had all broken off previously and were replaced. The contact stated that the manufacturer was made aware of the door look failure. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.
