I own a 2011 Nissan Sentra SL. Pulled into a store, shut down vehicle. Came out of store, vehicle wont start. Seems Fuel pump is not kicking on. Of course my extended warranty i purchased expired 156 miles ago. Had towed to 2 different shops, first one couldnt figure it out. Seems the ECU has gone out due to corrosion on positive terminal. I called Nissan and they said via my VIN number, it wasnt under the recall. But looking at other complaints it still seems this problem is still occuring to later models. I feel that the recall needs to be expanded. As of right now I am out $1500. That terminal block on the positive battery terminal is a poor placement idea from Nissan. Batteries sweat and this causes way too much corrosion.

My son was driving the car on interstate when the engine completely shut down for no reason. It was sputtering then lost all power. Luckily he was able to veer to the shoulder. It wouldn't crank at all. Had it towed and had to replace the air/fuel sensor.
