We purchased the car on Friday March 2nd from Universal Auto Plaza in Blue Springs, MO. Clean car fax, inspection, and warranty on car. On March 12th, only 10 days later, my daughter was driving down the highway in rush hour traffic when the engine suddenly caught fire. She was able to get the car to the off ramp and jump out before the car was fully engulfed in flames. This easily could have been a deadly accident. We have contacted an attorney and will seek compensation not just for the car, but for the trauma my daughter experienced and the state of her lungs. She suffered from smoke inhalation.
