While driving the steering keeps going to the left, in order to keep it straight on the road have to keep pressure to the right. ABS and traction light comes on when pressing on the brake, makes a weird sounds when braking with light press. Sounds of grinding of metal in the wheels. Only purchase a year ago.

I bought my 2018 Ram 1500 limited new in April 2018. In Feb. 2009, the air suspension failed and the truck was like driving a rock. The dealer replaced the compressor and all components under warranty. In January 2022 the suspension failed again. I took it to the dealer and they advised the compressor had over heated. They replaced the compressor - the total bill was over $1900. Once they installed the compressor, they tested the system and found that I also required both front air shocks springs, both rear air shocks spring, air ride valve block, and a 4 wheel alignment, putting my total repair expense at over $10,000.00. The truck is not 4 years old, this same repair was completed 3 years ago. The truck is a commuter and is parked in a heated garage every night. I told the dealer to convert the truck to normal suspension to avoid future catastrophe. The quote to do the conversion is $2700 and I still need to eat the cost of the compressor. I will not have my truck to drive for at least 4 weeks which is really pleasant when one lives out of town. I emailed Chrysler and got no response. This truck has never been off the road and serviced at the dealer since brand new. The cost of ownership for this truck makes it cost prohibitive. I am still spending nearly $5000 and will not have the options that I paid for. How can Chrysler continue to sell these vehicles in Canada? I always drove Ford before this truck and never ever had a repair bill this big for a vehicle this new. I have all quoted repairs in writing.
