The contact owns a 2015 Ram 3500. While driving, the vehicle stalled and the check engine indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (coast auto center Inc. 530 chetco ave, brookings, or 97415) where it was diagnosed that the degradation of the selective catalytic reduction system needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer stated that Dodge had not yet manufactured the part. The manufacturer stated that the contact could take the vehicle to the dealer everyday to have it checked, but offered no further assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 20,000.
