A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

On January 26, 2017 we purchased a new Dodge Ram 3500 from Martin Chrysler Dodge in Cleveland, TX, for our new business. We no problems until June 26,2017, when my husband was coming back from signing up with Acme Trucking as a driver. The truck just die on the feeder road of I-45 in Houston, TX. He cranked it, would go a little and die, crank it go a little and die. He was think what is wrong no idiot lights are coming on. It did this about 5 times and he was able to pull into a empty parking lot. after waiting at least 6 hrs on the tow truck guy, they had to call another guy because the truck wasn't big enough to pull the 3500. Another, at least 2 hrs. They tow it to Mac Haik Dodge, the guy comes out, hooks up the scan tool. He was like "I don't know it's throwing any codes". So, my husband asked him what should he do. The guys take it back to the dealer you bought it from.

Here's where the fun starts!!! So, not one block down the road dies 2 more times. He calls Martin Chrysler and they send out there tow truck driver to pick up the truck and bring it back. They give my husband a loaner truck to get home. About 2 days later we get the call from MCD (Martin Chrysler Dodge) "IT'S FUEL CONTAMINATION". So now it's not covered under warranty. We have to call our insurance people. We tell Progressive and they have an independent lab company go out and take a fuel sample. While waiting for the sample to come back, Progressive tells us we need to call the TDA (Texas Department of Agriculture). We call them and they go test the fuel at the LAST 3 FUEL STATIONS.

The results come back from the lab and the TDA, NO CONTAMINATION WAS FOUND!!!!!! So we tell the dealer and they played it off like the insurance didn't want to pay. This goes on for a bit. Then MCD says we can Replace the FUEL SYSTEM FOR: over $14,000.00 then a week or two later says we can flush the system for like $1,400.00 but if hey do that, they (MCD) will have to void the warranty. We ended up losing the truck for no payment, seeing how this is our work vehicle and can't make money with it down. But yay! MCD calls the finance company to come repo it. End of Jobs, money, and company.

SO ANYONE ELSE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM!!!!!!
