Loved this car - hoped I could keep it for 600,000 kms. Then the DPF light came on & blinked - then went solid really quickly, & then the advice was to replace the DPF. I did - but then it started smoking irregularly for an extended period each time. I've taken it to a dealer twice - no joy though each time they said it was the non-genuine part. They said there was no problem with the history in the car (yet where did the DPF issue come from in the first place?!!) Have taken it to 5 other mechanics - with the insight from two of them independently - definitely not the new part. Several mechanics said they needed time to sort it out & that could take $1000's. One observed that diesel was getting into the oil. Many possibilities - no solutions. So stuck with a car that smokes too much every so often - but then works fine. The dealer denied it was an issue!!!
