The transmission was initially covered to just 60,000 miles. Thankfully they extended the warranty to 100,000 miles. I got really lucky. It failed with just over 350 miles left in the extended warranty. Without the warranty, I would have been stuck with a greater than $7,000 bill.
The only downside is they replaced it with a re-manufactured CVT - so - I guess the best I can hope for is another 60,000 miles. This is so disappointing.
