"Subject: Error Avansa Toyota New Product

The chronological outline is as follows: I am a consumer who buys a new car dealer avansa Auto 2000 Toyota Astra Kalimalang branch Jakarta,Indonesia. At the time of the day after the handover of the car from the dealer , that on the next day in the morning, when I first start the car, on the condition of the engine is still cold it turns out there is damage / obstructions on avanza car, if the car is the start for the first time, in the morning or when conditions are cold engine friction sound / noise is "loud enough" as the engine turns left and then scraping sound / noise will disappear when the condition of the engine is hot. And then scraping sound / noise is likely to recur if later on after the car start and then cooled for a while or a car engine in a cold state. Because there are oddities and irregularities in the car, at that time I immediately contacted the dealer Auto 2000 Toyota Astra Kalimalang branch Jakarta,Indonesia by telephone and received by the service advisor and later on January 6, 2012 I took the car to be checked and accepted by Mr.Sigit Pramono . And after completion of the checks in general then I brought the car home. And the next day at the start the first time where the condition of the engine in cold conditions it still sounds friction / noise was still there. And because they are not satisfied, because the car is still in the same condition, in accordance with the agreement with Mr.Sigit Pramono before, so I brought the car back to dealer Auto 2000 Toyota Astra Kalimalang branch and then the car left / lodged to be checked / examination is to start in the morning when the engine in cold conditions in the presence of several technicians including technicians dealer Toyota Astra Motor(TAM Indonesia), the Head of Workshop. And the car was still in the same condition, which is still audible scraping sound / noise like a lap remaining. And the technician said that there is damage / irregularities in the rotation that occurs in the engine when the car is at the start on the condition of the engine is cold. And the technician also said that it was not going to happen when the car was manufactured and finished in time through the Quality Control Check carried out carefully and thoroughly, even the engineers of Toyota Astra Motor Indonesia (TAM Indonesia) said of the possibility at the time of the Quality Control Check the checks are not aware of any sound because they only check when the car in hot conditions. So did not notice / know of any friction sound / noise on engine start first in the engine is still cold (written statement of the technicians Toyota Astra Motor Indonesia(TAM Indonesia) on the damage to attached).

And consequently the discrepancy was not detected until the time the car was delivered from the factory to the dealer to sell to consumers. And it is also not going to happen if the dealer do the Final Quality Control Check it right before the car is delivered to the consumer!. And now my car has been returned to the dealer Auto 2000 Toyota Astra Kalimalang branch Jakarta,Indonesia. And the car was at dealer for almost 2 month!

And I think the damage to the car is not for use but the car is damaged / awkwardness when first received (Kilometer Zero) or more in product errors. So not a warranty that runs here but rather on how the process of checking the Last / Final Quality Control Check on when the car is finished in production and ready to be marketed. So if the Quality Control Check is really done carefully, thoroughly and completely carried out in accordance with existing procedure (SOP), the car is not going to the dealer to sell to consumers. And in fact the car is also not detectable by the dealer on the final check,so the car can be sold to consumers that the Adverse Party will ultimately consumers, by which time I was much taken by having to deal with these cars, the damage is in the car. In fact I bought a new car to the end that was not much taken my time because they have had damage like if I buy a used car / damaged.

Then what's the difference I buy a new car and used car if my time was taken up for having to deal with damage to the car. And also in the end I could not use the car for a period long enough for the car should I return it to the dealer because of a problem, when I was carrying out my duty as a consumer to pay off the car.

For that I ask the good faith of the Toyota Astra Motor Indonesia (TAM Indonesia) to be responsible for events that are not fun and very detrimental to me as a consumer. And for that because my car was returned to the Astra Auto Dealer Branch Kalimalang 2000 Jakarta,Indonesia, so I asked the Toyota Astra Motor Indonesia(TAM Indonesia) to be responsible for products that have been sold to consumers is to:

1. Replace the car with another unit of production is flawless, because my initial goal was to buy a new car instead of a defective car and then the repair / repaired / reconditioned to new. 2. When the Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) objected to the above, then I ask the Toyota Astra Motor Indonesia(TAM Indonesia) to return all the money I already spend to pay for the car.

because I as a consumer feel disappointed and hurt because of the time and my attention was much taken with the avanza car damage problem. In addition, I also can not use the car for a period long enough because the car is in trouble, while the original purpose of my buying the car I was to support the activities of my job but was plagued with problems mentioned above. For that I am still asking the Toyota Astra Motor Indonesia(TAM Indonesia) to be responsible about it to satisfy my request which is one of 2 (two) points above my request.
