In early September, went to class reunion & threw my wallet & checkbook in glove compartment, not realiazing
that the back of the compartment was not enclosed which I believe is a serious design flaw!! My wallet went out of sight & landed on wires (found out later) in back. I called the service dept & they told me to get over there asap & not to drive around with it which I did. The guy at the desk knew of the problem & got my check book for me also showing me how to disengage the glove compartment in case it happened again!!! I never did see the service dept, so the wiring was never checked out. A couple of weeks later, the speakers/radio went & is no longer working. I believe this to be a design flaw and the whole thing never should have happened, plus my wiring should have been checked out by the service dept as well. Therefore, I'm looking to Toyota to help me replace the radio/speakers in full. Other than that, I am very pleased with my Corolla and am looking to trade up to a Camry in the future. My car has been serviced by Prime Auto in Saco, ME where I purchased it. Looking forward to hearing from you.
