This happened on the right passenger door lock, but I am afraid the same thing will now happen with the driver side door lock and rear door locks. When one goes out, the others aren't far behind. Part cost about $50 and labor about $160.

I purchased a 2012 corolla with only 6 miles in August 2012

- A week after purchase, I took it back to the dealer to let them know of a foul odor coming from the a/c unit, nothing was done about it even though I kept complaining about it everytime I took it back for the regular service (oil changes). Finally in March 2012, they said they couldn't anything mechanically wrong with it and only sprayed deodorant in the vents and "hoped it helped".

- In February 2013, the door locks started having an issue, they would randomly not lock regardless if I was using the remote or the door buttons, I took it back to the dealer and they couldn't replicate the issue so they refused to do any work on it. I went back 3 times and even recorded the issue on my cell phone to prove to them the issue and while at the dealer, the issue started again on the spot and they were able to see it for themselves. The tech guy said it might be a computer issue and the door locks have now completely stopped working.

-The most recent issue is now the seatbelt signal. It won't go off when it's supposed to such as when a passenger unbuckles their belt while the car is in driving or when you first start the car and don't have a seatbelt on.

I've owned 7 corollas over the past several years and never had an issue until now. The dealership I've been dealing with is Toyota in Arlington, Texas and my experience has been extremely unsatisfactory. They have one of the worst customer services I've come across and would not recommend them to anyone...EVER. I am now looking into filing a lemon law claim but I am not sure if every one of my complaints were actually recorded by the service guy. From what I've read online, the seller is supposed to attempt to make repairs at least twice but they haven't even tried ONCE so I'm not sure what steps I need to take.

Anyone else having these issues?
