Back seatbelt was being used when it pulled back and started choking my 86yr old mother. We tried to lose using the little pulling space still available, but it kept pulling on my mom more and more, We tried moving the mom sideways, forward and back but the belt kept adjusting more and more restricting her ability to move away from it. My wife put her hand under my mom's chin to give her breathing space while I drove home. We had to use a knife to release the seatbelt which pulled violently to the belts retracting device.
I have been having trouble getting the back belts to work correctly but this time, it was too dangerous and extremely scary.
