After noticing these issues in my vehicle, I began to look into other model years (2025) and it is pretty much the same in the 2026 model. Sometimes there are no issues with shifting and other times it is very noticeable. I hope Toyota can issue a TSB and a fix. I will be contacting the dealership.

Hesitant acceleration- The transmission sometimes surges at lower speeds, seems to have issues shifting with quick acceleration from a stop and may not shift to a higher gear after reaching speed.
Rough Shifts transmission jerked going from drive to neutral.
RPM surging- Gear seemed to be stuck in lower range even after gaining some speed. High revs and RPM’s on engine.
