Spring/Summer 2013: The back driver door lock actuator failed. When the key fob or interior door lock/unlock buttons were pressed, the lock would not lock or unlock. The lock had to be manually moved into the lock/unlock positions. Toyota Service replaced this for $600. I was told that the part would be covered under a lifetime to ownership warranty.

December 2015: The back passenger side door lock actuator failed. When the key fob or interior door lock/unlock buttons were pressed, the lock would not lock or unlock. The lock had to be manually moved into the lock/unlock positions. This is the second time Toyota has replaced this part on my car. It was covered under a lifetime to ownership warranty, so I paid $0 for the repair.
