The contact owns a 2011 Toyota Prius. The contact stated that the ABS warning light was illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact stated that he had to apply extra force to the brake pedal while attempting to stop the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed him that the vehicle was under warranty; however, the warranty had expired. The contact insisted that he never received a notification about the warranty but was offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000.
