Both of my headlights on my 2013 Prius C stopped working at the same time causing a safety issue for driving home at night. Pulled off the road and figured out that the high beams still work, but the regular headlights would not. Seems like there has been a longstanding issue with other models of Prius getting too much energy to the headlights and burning out bulbs - see the Toyota Safety Bulletin T-SB-0204-12 called Headlamp Durability Enhancement. Toyota apparently will only remedy this for a Prius still under the 36,000 mile warranty. Other than that, they will be happy to have you pay them to fix their design flaw. Again, we are still in the fact finding process, so I'm not sure if this will be our final solution. Fuses are in tact. Will remove the bulbs now to see if they are both burned out. Annoying. Well documented issue for many Prius owners. Dangerous to lose both headlights when driving at night.
