I have a 1999 Rav4 that just rolled over 100000 miles. It needed some work on the front brakes. I took off the wheels on the front and saw that the WHOLE front end was completely rusted through. The sub frame, control arms, the whole suspension was nothing but rust. The sub frame was the consistency of graham crackers. The condition of the vehicle; besides the rust, was immaculate. This vehicle is a ticking time bomb. I am afraid to drive it away from the mechanics shop. I called Toyota about it and was told to get lost.
