Well, lucky for me I found a friendly, helpful service man at the Toyota in Anaheim, CA. My wife reported surges coming from the transmission so I took the car in by my office. The service man told me to come back Monday because there would be no work done on the car during the weekend. I came in and they kept the car for a week. Lucky for me that I had an extended warranty. The repairs cost over $5,000 for a new transmission but I paid $0 out of pocket. I am so glad I put the extended warranty. Any car I buy from now on is going to come with an extended warranty. Poo Poo on TMC, I thought their cars were indestructible. I guess to compete with American cars, they had to drop their levels of quality.
