whining noise between 20-65 mph
Been to two dealers , first one says, "Definite pinion noise, but not covered by TSB" ???
Second one says " Slight pinion noise, but not included in TSB by VIN" ?
I am an ASE certified Master Auto tech with over 40 years in the business. I have NEVER heard such lame ass excuses for an ongoing prevalent whining / howling pinion noise!. I am about to write my second letter of complaint to Toyota. This is inexcusable! This defect covers years 2006 through 2012. TSB 0130-12. Evidently Toyota feels a screaming pinion noise is acceptable or would rather lose customers over a know product defect. I fully intend to utilize all of social media to bring this egregious negligence to the public.
