On October, 2019, the wife and I were going through a green light when we were t-boned on her side. The car that hit us was going 50 mph, and the side air bags did not go off, leaving the wife to get the whole impact, with injury. We contacted Toyota and they sent someone to check out why.
Now the car a total loss. They said the impact was not hard enough, so being hit at 50 mph was not hard enough to release the air bags on the side.
