This is a very serious problem due to not having access to the spare tire in severe weather and critical conditions. Also limited exit ability in minor to severe situations. If my wife and children are stranded in harsh conditions they would have no access to the spare tire, or if traded in an accident, no access through the back door. The sad fact is that many people have to replace these repeatedly! Is this a money making scam with the auto industry? This handle is also currently broken on my Toyota Sienna! I now own two Toyota products with identical broken handles!
